Comparative of Fatigue Between Primary and Middle School Teachers in Seoul Area

Abstract
|
|
|
In order to investigate the degree of fatigue and the factors affecting fatigue, in the primary and middle school teachers, the critical flicker fusion freguency(CFF) before and after work on Monday, Thursday and Saturday was measured on 30
teachers of
each at the primary and middle school during the period from November 30 to December 5, 1992.
@ES The results were as follows;
@EN 1. The decrement of CFF value before and after work was significantly higher on Thursday than on Monday and Saturday, however, no significant difference for this decrement was demonstrated between teachers of the primary and middle school.
2. The teacher with 6% or more percentage reduction of CFF within a week day amounted to 50.0-56.7% in the middle school and 20.0-30.0% in the primary school respectvely, and was significantly higher in the middle school teacher than in the in
the
primary school teacher on Monday and Saturday.
3. The factors for fatigue were indicated by CFF value before work, the work factor such as number of teaching hours, and such extra-work factors as career, smoking and drinking in complex manner together.
